Short description: caprettone is a white berried variety which probably owes its name to the particular shape of the bunch, which can recall the goat's beard. It has only recently been recognized as a vine with its own specific genetic and productive profile, typical of Vesuvius. The bunch is quite tight, with medium-sized berries, thick skin and elliptical shape.

Type of grapes: 100% Caprettone, guyot, ungrafted.

Production area: 250 above sea level Bosco del Monaco, Vesuvius National Park.

Vinification: manual selection of the grapes, de-stemming and draining of the must, fermentation at a controlled temperature for about 20 days.

Aging in steel for 6 months and for another 2 months in the bottle.

Tasting notes: bright golden yellow color, complex and broad on the nose, with notes of broom and cedar, followed by balsamic aromas. Persuasive and enveloping, with a powerful flavor and a softness accompanied by a perfect acidity and a long sip.

Alcohol volume: 13% Vol.
