Brief description: It is a black grape variety, with a cylindrical cluster, tending to triangular, full and of medium size.

This variety has a small berry, between the round and the slightly oval, juicy and of an intense dark blue color, while its skin is very waxy.

Type of grapes: 100% Aglianico grapes, guyot, ungrafted.

Production area: 250-350 asl Bosco del Monaco and Tirone della Guardia, Vesuvius National Park.

Vinification: destemming and cryomaceration up to 72 hours, fermentation at controlled temperature for about 8 days.

Aging in steel for 12 months, after a short passage in wood it rests for 2 months in the bottle.

Tasting notes: intense ruby ​​red color, floral on the nose with hints of berries, licorice and smoky references. Intense and full on the palate, with slightly velvety tannins.

Alcohol volume: 14% Vol.

Serving temperature:  14-16 ° C.
